Enchilada Sauce


  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Whole Wheat Flour
  • ¼ tsp Ground Cumin
  • ¼ tsp Onion Powder
  • ¼ tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 – 15 oz can Tomato Sauce


Heat oil in small saucepan and whisk in flour. Add spices. Slowly add tomato sauce, whisking to prevent lumps. Add in water, about one cup, to desired thickness. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 20 – 30 minutes.
